Guy Ritchie turned the London premiere of the second season of his series The Gentlemen into a rare family outing, appearing at the event alongside his wife Jacqui Ainsley and his son Rocco Ritchie, whom he shares with Madonna.
The large-scale premiere brought together the show’s leading stars and numerous celebrity guests. Theo James attended with his wife Ruth Kearney, while Joely Richardson, Kaya Scodelario, Vinnie Jones, Giancarlo Esposito and Lottie Moss were also among those making appearances.
Ray Winstone was joined by his wife Elaine and daughter Jaime, but Guy Ritchie’s family attracted particular attention thanks to the presence of 26-year-old Rocco, who is rarely seen at major public events.
Rocco was born during Ritchie’s marriage to Madonna. The filmmaker and the pop superstar were married from 2000 until 2008 and have largely continued their lives separately since their divorce.
Unlike his internationally famous parents, Rocco chose not to build a career in music or filmmaking. He did, however, follow a creative path and has established himself as an artist.
His work has also occasionally brought his famous parents back together publicly. When Rocco opened an exhibition last year, both Madonna and Guy attended to support him. Their joint appearance was especially notable because it marked the first time the former spouses had been seen publicly together since their divorce.
Madonna, 68, and Guy, 57, also share adopted son David Banda. Madonna’s family additionally includes her eldest biological daughter Lourdes and adopted daughters Chifundo Mercy, Estere and Stella.
Guy eventually found love again with British model Jacqui Ainsley. The couple dated for five years before marrying in 2015 and have three children together.
Now, Guy’s latest premiere has offered another uncommon glimpse of his blended family, with Jacqui by his side and Rocco stepping into the spotlight alongside his father for the special evening.
