Victoria and David Beckham have marked another important family occasion by celebrating their son Romeo’s 24th birthday. Romeo turned 24, and both parents shared heartfelt messages and a collection of photographs on social media.
Victoria, 52, accompanied her birthday tribute with warm words about the person her second son has become. She highlighted Romeo’s personality, kindness and the happiness he has brought to the family over the years.
“Romeo, you have the biggest smile and a huge heart. You are smart, kind, and we all love you so much,” Victoria wrote. She added that she and David were extremely proud of the “wonderful young man” he had become and praised the respect and kindness he shows toward others.
David, 51, also dedicated an affectionate message to his son. The former football star wished Romeo a happy birthday and emphasized how proud he was of him.
“Happy birthday, mate! We love you so much,” David wrote, describing Romeo as sweet, kind and an amazing young man. He also wished his son the best possible birthday, saying that Romeo deserved it.
Alongside the emotional messages, Victoria and David opened their family archives and shared photographs of Romeo from different stages of his life. The throwback pictures offered followers a chance to see how much he has changed since childhood.
One family member, however, did not publicly join the birthday celebrations. Romeo’s older brother Brooklyn, who has reportedly been estranged from his family for more than a year, did not acknowledge his brother’s birthday.
Romeo was born in 2002 and is the second child of Victoria and David, who have been married since 1999. The couple are also parents to sons Brooklyn and Cruz and daughter Harper.
Among the Beckham sons, Romeo was the one who most directly followed in his famous father’s footsteps by pursuing professional football.
His sporting career eventually gave way to a different professional direction. In 2023, Romeo ended his contract with Brentford and shifted his attention toward modeling.
Since then, he has built an increasingly visible career in fashion, working with brands including Burberry and Puma. He has also appeared in Vogue China and The New York Times Style Magazine.
More recently, Romeo has begun exploring another field. The 24-year-old landed his first major movie role, adding acting to his growing list of professional projects.
For his birthday, however, Victoria and David focused less on their son’s career and more on the person they have watched grow up. Their collection of archival photographs provided a nostalgic look back at Romeo’s childhood while their messages made clear just how proud they are of the man he has become.
