Ivanka Trump is clearly not spending her entire Costa Rican vacation stretched out beside a swimming pool. The 44-year-old headed back into the ocean for another surfing session, showing that active days on the water have become a familiar part of her tropical getaways.
During the family vacation, Ivanka grabbed a surfboard and took on the Costa Rican waves. The photos captured her balancing confidently on the board and riding through the water, although not every attempt ended perfectly.
At one point, a wave knocked her into the ocean. Ivanka did not appear discouraged by the fall, however. She climbed back onto the board and continued surfing, looking increasingly comfortable with every new attempt.
For the activity, she skipped elaborate beachwear in favor of something designed for movement. Ivanka wore a fitted white long-sleeved top with black bottoms, while her blonde hair was pulled into a braid to keep it away from her face.
The close-fitting combination also highlighted her lean, athletic physique. Far removed from the formal dresses and tailored suits often associated with her public image, Ivanka looked noticeably more sporty and relaxed on the beach.
Surfing is not a completely new hobby for her. She has been practicing during visits to Costa Rica for several years and has previously taken lessons with experienced surfers.

Those hours in the water appear to have made a difference. Although she still occasionally loses her balance, Ivanka no longer looks like someone stepping onto a surfboard for the first time and appears increasingly confident when confronting the waves.
The vacation has therefore offered a very different glimpse of Donald Trump’s daughter. Instead of formal engagements and polished appearances, she has been spending her time exercising, surfing and enjoying the outdoors with her family.
Even after being thrown into the water, Ivanka returned smiling and ready for another attempt. Judging by the latest pictures, Costa Rica has once again given her the chance to combine a family vacation with one of her favorite adrenaline-filled activities.
