Margot Robbie has been photographed enjoying some rare private time with her husband, Tom Ackerley, in Paris. The actress and British producer are famously protective of their marriage, making their relaxed appearance together on the streets of the French capital especially noticeable.
Robbie is currently in Paris working on the Ocean’s Eleven prequel, but she used a break from filming to spend the day with Tom. Despite the rainy weather, the couple headed outside for a walk together.
The 36-year-old actress wore her blonde hair loose and chose a fitted gray outfit for the outing. Her semi-sheer strappy top was paired with a matching skirt featuring a dramatic thigh-high slit.
Margot finished the look with a handbag and slouchy black boots. With rain falling around them, she carried an open umbrella above her head while walking through the city.
Tom kept things more understated in a suede pullover and classic blue jeans. He carried his own umbrella as he stayed close to his wife, and the pair continued their stroll despite the gloomy Paris weather.
Their relationship began long before they became one of Hollywood’s most private married couples. Margot first met Tom while working on Suite Française in 2013. At the time, he was an assistant director, and the two initially developed a friendship before romance followed about a year later.
Robbie has previously admitted that she had feelings for Tom before believing he could possibly feel the same way. “We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him,” she recalled, explaining that she initially tried to convince herself not to complicate their friendship. Once they finally got together, she described the feeling as an incomparable sense of flying.
Margot and Tom married in December 2016 during a private ceremony in her native Australia. News that the actress was expecting their first child emerged in August 2024, and she gave birth to their son on October 17.
Their partnership also extends into business. The spouses run a production company together that is involved with many of Robbie’s projects, and Tom’s support has accompanied her rise into the ranks of Hollywood’s most in-demand and highest-paid actresses.
Paris is currently keeping Margot particularly busy. She was recently photographed filming outdoor scenes for the upcoming Ocean’s Eleven prequel alongside Bradley Cooper, who is directing the project while also playing one of its leading roles. Away from the cameras, however, her latest Paris appearance was all about a much rarer sight — a quiet day beside her husband.
