Nicole Kidman has traded Hollywood events for Iceland’s dramatic scenery. The 59-year-old actress is enjoying a cruise around the country with her younger sister, 56-year-old Antonia Kidman, and has now shared a collection of personal moments from their trip.
The new photos show several sides of Nicole’s vacation. In some, she poses on the deck of the cruise ship, while others capture her relaxing in a hot tub and spending time at the onboard bar.
The sisters also ventured onto land to explore Iceland’s famous natural landscapes. Kidman included several shots surrounded by the country’s striking scenery, making it clear that the trip involved much more than simply relaxing aboard the ship.
“Beautiful country, trip of a lifetime,” Nicole wrote about the getaway. She also thanked Iceland for warmly welcoming her family and guests before adding, “We love you, Iceland!”
The vacation follows another recent appearance that put Kidman back in the spotlight. The actress attended the premiere of the third season of Special Ops: Lioness, in which she has a role, wearing a sheer top for the occasion.
Her personal life has also undergone a major change. A year ago, Nicole separated from her second husband, musician Keith Urban, after 19 years of marriage.
Kidman and Urban share two daughters, 18-year-old Sunday and 15-year-old Faith. Both girls have already begun taking their first steps toward careers in the entertainment industry.
Before her marriage to Urban, Nicole spent 11 years married to Tom Cruise. The former couple share two adopted children. Now, following a period of significant changes in her private life, Kidman appears to be making the most of a memorable family adventure with her younger sister.
