A quarter of a century after The Fast and the Furious first arrived on screens, the franchise’s stars returned to a place filled with memories. Among those attending the anniversary celebration in Los Angeles was Meadow Walker, the only daughter of the late Paul Walker.
The special screening was held at the Westwood Village Theater, where the original film had its premiere 25 years earlier. Cars and themed decorations surrounded the carpet as familiar faces from the franchise gathered to celebrate its history and remember Paul.

Meadow appeared alongside Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster. For the event, she chose a casual combination of a white tank top and relaxed designer trousers, while Diesel arrived wearing black with fitted jeans.
The warm relationship between Meadow and her father’s longtime friend was obvious in front of the cameras. She wrapped her arms around Vin in an affectionate hug before the pair went over to greet waiting fans. They posed together, waved to the crowd and shared several moments on the carpet. Meadow later posted photographs featuring both Diesel and Brewster.

The atmosphere became much more emotional when Vin spoke before the movie began. Remembering his friendship with Paul, who died in 2013, the actor struggled to contain his emotions and described the heart of the franchise as an “eternal brotherhood.”
Diesel also revealed that the upcoming conclusion to the saga affected him deeply. He said he cried after reading the script for the finale, which has been developed over four years by four separate teams of writers. Production is expected to start in December, while the release is planned for March 17, 2028.

It all began on June 22, 2001. The first movie introduced audiences to Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Paul Walker as undercover officer Brian O’Conner, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto and Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz. What started as one street-racing film ultimately developed into a franchise lasting more than two decades.
Away from the screen, Meadow spent much of her childhood in Hawaii with her mother, Rebecca Soteros. When she was 13, she moved to California to live with Paul. Two years later, on November 30, 2013, the actor died at 40 in Santa Clarita after the Porsche Carrera GT driven by his friend Roger Rodas crashed.

Vin remained an important figure in Meadow’s life after her father’s death. Years later, he accompanied her down the aisle when she married Louis Thornton-Allan. Meadow and the aspiring actor eventually divorced in 2024 after three years of marriage.
She has also created her own small connection to the movie series that made her father famous. Meadow appeared briefly as a flight attendant in the tenth installment of Fast & Furious, becoming part of the franchise that continues to preserve Paul Walker’s legacy.
