Kelly Osbourne has once again become the center of an intense online discussion about her appearance. The 41-year-old daughter of the late Ozzy Osbourne shared vacation photos in a leopard-print one-piece swimsuit, prompting sharply divided reactions from followers about her noticeably slim figure.
Kelly completed the look with unusual sunglasses shaped like bat wings — an apparent tribute to her famous father. While the vacation pictures were meant to capture a relaxing break, much of the conversation quickly shifted toward her weight.
Some commenters expressed concern, writing messages such as, “Please eat,” “Take care of yourself, you look weak again,” and “How much do you weigh? Go eat a cheeseburger.” One person went even further, describing her as a “skeleton on vacation.” Others strongly disagreed with those reactions and felt Kelly looked healthier than before, leaving comments including, “You look so happy and healthy,” “She looks so much healthier,” and “Yay, she’s gaining weight!”
Kelly herself focused on something completely different in her message. She explained that the vacation had reminded her how important it can be to temporarily step away from the constant pressure of everyday life. “I’m starting to understand how important it is to sometimes step away from all this madness,” she wrote, adding that she often becomes so absorbed in work, people and plans that she forgets she is allowed to stop, disconnect and simply breathe. Kelly said the break had left her feeling lighter, calmer and happier.
Discussion about her weight had already intensified toward the end of last year. Kelly, who has spoken for years about her struggles with excess weight and previously lost 39 kilograms, faced speculation online about whether she was using Ozempic. Other commenters claimed she had become too thin, while some suggested that grief following her father’s death might have affected her weight. Kelly’s appearance alone does not establish the cause of any weight change.
The debate continued when Kelly appeared publicly with her 73-year-old mother, Sharon Osbourne, in the spring. Some online reactions were particularly harsh, while by early summer other followers believed Kelly appeared to have gained some weight and said they thought she looked noticeably better.
Kelly is the younger daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. She welcomed her first child with musician Sid Wilson in 2020. He proposed to Kelly last year, but the couple later ended both their engagement and relationship. Ozzy and Sharon also share daughter Aimee and son Jack, while the musician had two children from his first marriage and 10 grandchildren.
Ozzy Osbourne, a founding member of the legendary band Black Sabbath, died in July last year at the age of 76. His cause of death was an acute myocardial infarction.
