Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were spotted together in New York City — but this time, their appearance came under very different circumstances.
The couple was seen leaving a building in Manhattan on March 17, heading toward a waiting SUV while surrounded by noticeably increased security. It marked their first public outing since a disturbing incident at their California home just days earlier.
For the outing, Rihanna kept her signature effortless style, wearing jeans, snakeskin boots, a gray sweater, and a leather jacket. A$AP Rocky followed closely behind in a black coat and baseball cap, staying low-key as the pair moved quickly through the street.
According to reports, the heightened security comes after a woman allegedly opened fire on their Los Angeles property on March 8. Authorities later identified the suspect as 35-year-old Ivanna Ortiz, who was arrested the same day and charged with attempted murder.
Court documents revealed that multiple charges have been filed against her, including assault with a firearm. It was also reported that she used a rifle during the attack on the $14 million home where Rihanna and Rocky live with their three young children.
Despite the seriousness of the situation, the couple appeared composed during their New York outing — though the strong security presence made it clear that this was far from a routine walk.
