Kate Middleton and Prince William traded royal formality for a surprisingly relaxed day out as they visited one of London’s most iconic food markets.
On Thursday, March 12, the Prince and Princess of Wales headed to Borough Market to personally explore local produce — and they didn’t hold back. From artisan cheese to sweet desserts and even craft beer, the couple fully immersed themselves in the experience.
Kate kept her look effortlessly polished, wearing suede boots paired with a chic checked blazer and a soft blue blouse. Her outfit struck the perfect balance between casual and refined, fitting seamlessly into the lively market atmosphere.
The visit quickly turned interactive. At a local café, Kate even stepped behind the counter to make William a cappuccino, before the pair decorated meringue desserts at a popular dessert spot. They also stopped by a traditional cheese stall, sampling products made on a farm in Somerset.
Their outing didn’t end there. The couple later visited a nearby brewery, where they tasted different ales, before finishing the day with a meaningful activity — a ride along the River Thames with the RNLI, learning more about the organization’s life-saving work.
