Apple Martin melted fans’ hearts after posting a touching message for her father, Chris Martin, as he celebrated his 49th birthday.
The young musician shared a series of personal photos on social media, giving followers a rare glimpse into their close relationship.
In the first image, Apple and Chris are seen smiling widely together, looking relaxed and joyful. She captioned the picture simply but emotionally: “Birthday of my hero,” adding a red heart emoji.
Another photo shows the two hugging during what appears to be a celebration. Apple also included smaller throwback images of Chris with her and her younger brother, Moses Martin, when they were younger.
“The coolest dad in the world,” she added in her message. “I love you more than anything.”
Chris shares his two children with his ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow. The couple were married from 2003 until their highly publicized split in 2014, but they have remained on good terms ever since.
Apple appears to be following closely in her father’s footsteps. In October 2025, she released a single titled Satellites, marking one of her first steps into the music world.
At the same time, she has been exploring acting and theater. Apple currently studies law, history and social sciences at Vanderbilt University in Nashville and performs with a university cabaret theater group.
Between music, acting and her studies, Apple Martin is quietly building her own creative path.
But judging by her birthday message, one thing is clear.
No matter where that path leads, her biggest inspiration is still her dad.
