A Decade Later: The Harry Potter Actors Reunites on the Red Carpet

A surprise reunion that nearly left fans speechless! Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton crossed paths for the first time in 13 years at the New York premiere of Merrily We Roll Along. The former Hogwarts rivals hugged right before the screening began and managed to chat — briefly, but warmly.

The last time they were seen together was back in 2011 at the final premiere of Deathly Hallows. A lot has changed since then: Radcliffe is now 36, Felton is 38. But fans are convinced that neither of them has lost the magic that once made them on-screen legends.

Meanwhile, the Harry Potter universe is preparing for a reboot. The new series is already in production, with a 2027 premiere expected. The plan is seven seasons — one for each book. It’s confirmed that the first season will have eight episodes, and a new Hagrid has already been spotted on set, played by Nick Frost.

And the cherry on top: Radcliffe recently sent a touching letter to the actor playing young Harry in the upcoming series. Shortly after, Rupert Grint followed suit, writing a message to the “new Ron.”
