Brad Pitt’s new look at 61 has blown up social media — and not in the best way. The actor suddenly grew a mustache and swapped his classic style for something more “youthful,” and fans immediately decided it was all because of his 33-year-old girlfriend.
Online, people insist Pitt is desperately trying to “look younger” and sometimes seems like someone trying far too hard to match someone else’s expectations.
Brad, however, acts as if no storm is happening around him. He says this is the calmest period of his life:
“I’m good where I am. I feel comfortable with my friends, my loved ones, my family. And simply with the understanding of who I am.”
But critics aren’t letting up. Under his new photos, comments keep getting harsher:
“Late-life crisis written all over him,” “He used to look so much more dignified,” “He needs a new stylist ASAP,” “He’s aged a lot,” “He’s trying to keep up with his young girlfriend,” “This relationship isn’t serious,” “He’s never going to marry her,” “He doesn’t even care about his kids.”
