Rumors about a romance between Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson had been circulating for months, but the pair stubbornly remained silent — until the actress finally revealed the truth. In an interview with People on December 9, Pamela stated plainly: “If you want to know, yes — we were romantically involved with each other. But only after the filming ended.”
Anderson said they spent an “intimate week” at Neeson’s country house in upstate New York. She stayed in a separate room, their assistants were nearby, and relatives would stop by from time to time. Despite the almost “home-like” setting, genuine feelings developed between them.

That week, she recalls, felt like a cinematic romance: dinners, walks, working together in the garden. At restaurants, Liam introduced her as “the future Mrs. Neeson.” And once, during breakfast, a bear wandered up to the house — and the actor, still wearing a robe, chased it away. “It was like a scene from a Nancy Meyers movie. People thought it was PR, but it was real,” Pamela said.
But the fairytale didn’t last long. After the week of seclusion, each returned to their own projects, and the romance gradually faded. “I adore Liam, but we are better as friends,” she admitted. “He always supports me and says he’s proud of me. I’m sure we’ll stay close, no matter how life unfolds.”

Pamela emphasizes that she never uses relationships as publicity and is superstitious about her private life. She believes that falling in love on screen is part of her profession, but in real life she allows no games. “I’m sincere. And I always will be,” the actress said.
