The 45-year-old actor made a touching appearance on the red carpet with his youngest son. Colin Farrell stepped out alongside Henry at the 77th annual Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.
The Irish star, nominated for his role in the DC series The Penguin, had already been recognized earlier this year with a prestigious award and arrived at the Emmys hoping for another win. This time, however, he was joined by 15-year-old Henry, whom he shares with his former partner, actress Alicja Bachleda.
Colin looked refined in a classic black-and-white velvet tuxedo with a bow tie, while Henry opted for a sharp black suit, white shirt, and silk tie. The father and son stood side by side, keeping composed as they posed for photographers.
Although Colin did not take home the Emmy, losing to young rising star Owen Cooper, the night was still memorable for his rare family appearance. Cooper’s win was historic, making him the youngest ever recipient of the award for best actor.
Farrell is also a father to his eldest son James from a previous relationship, who has long inspired him to dedicate time and effort to charitable work through his own foundation.
