“He was larger than life — but wait till you see his daughter” 😮💥 Andre the Giant’s only child, once far from the spotlight, is now turning heads with her towering frame and fierce presence. Fans can’t believe how much she looks like him — and the latest photos say it all. See the striking resemblance in the article below 👇
Andre Rene Roussimoff, famously known as Andre the Giant, didn’t start off looking like a legend. As a kid, he looked like any other boy in the neighborhood.
But once he hit the age of twelve, something changed dramatically. Andre began to grow at an unbelievable pace—so fast, in fact, that he could no longer fit in a regular school bus seat.
Still, his parents weren’t too concerned. They figured his size would be useful for farm work and chores.
By seventeen, Andre stood 190 cm tall and weighed around 130 kg. Around this time, he decided to step into the wrestling ring—a sport that was taking the world by storm.
He adopted the name “The Giant” and quickly became a fan favorite. With his incredible size and strength, he crushed his opponents with ease, earning fame almost overnight. In 1974, he was named the highest-paid wrestler in the world and made it into the Guinness Book of Records.
But behind the fame was a life full of challenges. Clothes had to be custom-made, and his joints were under constant stress. Flying was a nightmare: he always needed two seats and couldn’t even use the airplane bathroom due to his size.
Andre kept most of his private life out of the spotlight. He never married, but he did have a daughter—Robin Christensen-Roussimoff.
Robin didn’t get to spend much time with her father. According to her mother, Jean, she had only met Andre four times by the time she turned twelve. Still, he supported her financially.
Today, Robin has grown into a strong woman who clearly inherited her father’s features. She has a broad build, a strong jawline, and stands at about 180 cm tall, weighing over 100 kg.
Carrying on her father’s legacy, Robin has also stepped into the wrestling world, determined to honor the path he paved.
