Track and field events have been known for a long time for arranging human competitions. But sometimes dogs also want to take part in it and get the whole attention on them.
Gracie Laney was on her final corner of a relay track in Utah and she was focused on getting first place.
But she couldnât imagine, that a sweet little puppy considered also take part in the competition at the final corner.
The puppy appeared out of nowhere and started running towards the finish line and although he was at a considerable distance from Gracie he soon managed to catch her up.
He didnât just want to participate, but he managed to reach the finish line accidentally tripling Gracie up in the process.
All the people watching were amazed by the dogâs speed and desire to be the first.
Gracie told, that at first he considered it was a runner, but then she saw it was a dog. She couldnât imagine such a situation and considered, that the puppy deserved to win after all his efforts.
When Gracie finally got her breath back at the end of the race she looked for the puppy to congratulate.
But she couldnât find him there, as he went back to the sides to watch the remaining races.
Happily, the puppy didnât affect or cause any discomfort to the race. The puppy was so speedy, that we wonât be surprised to see him join the Utah field team in the future.
