There are many stories, that show that the most unusual friendships between animals and humans develop in the most unexpected places. And such was the story of Jason and Smokey.
A prisoner in Las Vegas named Jason was allowed to take part in the program, where he could train a puppy.
The previous owners of the puppy named Smokey took him to the kill shelter, as they couldn’t understand him. And he deserved to have a second chance at life and Jason was overjoyed to give the puppy that chance.
Jason and Smokey spend a lot of time together and they developed a strong bond. And Jason was very sad after Smokey was graduated, as he missed the puppy so much.
Jason had a phone conversation with his mother and she understood the level of love the man had with the puppy. The woman considered taking Smokey home until Jason was released from jail.
With the help of the program the Jason took part in he is now a certified dog trainer and he will finish his sentence very soon to be with Smokey.
This program is the best thing for both humans and dogs, who want to have a second chance at life and start a new chapter.
We wish Jason and Smokey all the best and we hope Jason will become a perfect dog trainer after his release from jail.
