Rescued and Reborn: The Incredible Story of Jack the Fire Department Mascot

The new proud member of the fire brigade

The sweet doggie named Jack was only three weeks old when he was trapped in a burning shed. The doggie was saved by the neighborhood firefighter named Bill Lindler and sustained burns to 75% of his body, including his paw pads.

Sadly his owners abandoned him at the vet clinic, as they didn’t have money for his treatment. And happily, the same firefighter, who saved him considered taking him.

Being cared by the workers of the Hanahan Fire Department the doggie soon recovered. He is now the new worker of the fire department. He is their mascot. He goes to different departments to assist children to deal with emergencies and check the furnace.
