She deserved such a gift
Meet Murphy, a rescued eagle, who now lives at the World Bird Sanctuary.
Once the staff spotted something strange in her behavior. She was protecting something in the ground and didn’t allow anyone to approach it.
One day one of the workers managed to find out that it was just a rock, but why she sat there and didn’t want to leave it remained unknown.
At first, they thought that the bird had such strange behavior because she didn’t have any companion, but later it turned out that it was not the right reason.
One day the staff found a nest in that place, in which there were two chick, one of which unfortunately had passed away because of a storm. But the second one was alive thanks to its protector.
The staff decided to keep it next to the eagle, thinking that in that way the baby would feel better and healthier.
But their meeting didn’t happen so fast, as Murphy needed some time to accept the baby. When she made a final decision to approach him, something exciting happened. Just after a few minutes of their meeting, Murphy began to feed the baby.
