Nature never ceases to amaze us with its wonders
Have you ever heard about Mangalica? It is a type of pig and is known to very few people.
It seems that nature wanted to combine pigs and sheep to each other and it got such a wonderful result.
Many people are confused when they meet these amazing creatures, because they strongly look like sheep. The funniest thing is that they can be kept as pets like dogs.
This type of pig first appeared in Hungary in the 19th century.
In the 20th century, they became quite popular in Hungary, but unfortunately, their number decreased and remained only a few hundred of them.
Now many people know them and try to breed this species.
Now there are about 7000 in Hungary, which give birth to 60.000 piglets.
Thanks to their thick wool, they are able to withstand the cold.
People don’t try to brush them as it can be challenging both for them and the animals.
However, they are really wonderful creatures. Nature never stops surprising us with its miracles.
