He acted heroically without thinking about the consequences
When this kindhearted hiker named Corey Hancock found a bear cub lying on the ground, he didn’t stay indifferent and hurried to save him.
The poor baby was only three months old and was in terrible condition.
He took the cub with him without hesitation. Although he didn’t know what to do, he didn’t give up and continued his way.
In Oregon the Turtle Ridge Wildlife Center deals with such cases, so Hancock connected to them and informed them about the case.
They took the bear to a vet and provided him with all the appropriate treatment.
Many animal experts claimed that he would not have done this, and for his action the fine could have been $6,000 or even a year in jail. Luckily, it didn’t happen and he didn’t get any punishment, because he saved the animal’s life.
