Adorable friendship between a teacher and a stork lasting 21 years
This stork is an inspiration to many others because of his sweet devotion and love. He has been travelling almost 8500 kilometres every week for the past 20 years to meet his best friend as he adores him.
The stork named Esto’s actions became the best example that love is the strongest power on earth. A teacher named Stephen found a stork and treated his wing in the Croatian village.
And their sweet love story began after Stephen constructed a nest for him on his roof. Esto spends his winters with his saviour, who takes good care of him and becomes his full family member.
The whole community has been waiting for Esto’s return since 2002 and during those 21 years there hasn’t been a year when he missed.
This stork and his flock leave for Africa in the winter after having chicks each season and raising them. Esto might also break the previous record for the oldest stork, which was 39 years old.
