A touching love story captured by a man
This stork is an example for many people with his sweet devotion and love. He has been travelling for about 8500 kilometres each week for 20 years to meet his soulmate, as she loves him.
The stork named Esto’s deeds are the most significant examples, that love is the most powerful and strong force in the world. A teacher named Stephen from the Croatian village discovered a stork and took care of her and treated her wing.
And Stephen was the first to see this touching love story from the moment he constructed her nest on his roof. Esto passes her winters with the man, who deals with her like a pet and looks after her as a member of his family.
All the residents have been waiting for Esto’s come back since 2002 and throughout these years he has never delayed or failed.
This stork and his flock went to Africa in the winter after having chicks and growing them up together. Esto was able to break the previous record for the oldest stork, who lived 39 years.
