It was a big luck, that the deer was able to give birth
A volunteer of an animal protection organisation found a knocked down deer in the middle of the road while he was driving down the highway. At first he thought the animal had died, but after closer examination he understood the female was pregnant.
And without hesitation, the volunteer considered to make a daring step as he was carrying instruments. He had studied veterinary medicine before, so he had experience doing the surgery.
The deer was quickly taken to the vet, as she still carried a baby in her womb. The baby carried on to make an effort to go forward.
The deer is now getting stronger, and only after that she will be able to return to its natural habitat. Although she had little chance at giving birth and carrying on to develop, the baby was born fortunate.
We hope, that she will recover soon and return to its normal life in the forest, like the other tribe members.
