A dull program got a lot better due to the unexpected arrival of a puppy.
The previous week, the Russian news program was unexpectedly interrupted when an amiable black dog roamed into the room and made his presence known live. Host Ilona Linarte from the Mir24 TV channel made an attempt to carry on, regardless of the unanticipated guest’s insistence on being at the center of attention, but she soon had to come to terms with the latest news.
“I’ve got a dog here. How the dog appeared in the studio?” Linarte called out to someone off-camera before turning to the audience. “I actually prefer cats. Yes, I’m a cat person.”
Nevertheless, she was so enamored that she gave the puppy several pets.
The dog’s arrival on television may have been temporary but it has already made him a celebrity. The clip gained recognition online, being viewed more than 3 times in just a few days.
In a subsequent story, the news station described that the dog belonged to a guest from another segment and somehow broke free.
Turns out this wasn’t the premier time a boring broadcast got a whole lot better due to the unexpected arrival of a playful puppy. And definitely, that’s always good news.
