Melania Trump showed a warmer, more informal side during a visit to Mountain View Elementary School in Ashe County, North Carolina, where she spent time talking with students, teachers and administrators.
The visit highlighted the community’s recovery after Hurricane Helene. During the disaster, the school had been transformed into a distribution center providing food, water, supplies and other assistance to local families. Melania praised the resilience of residents and spoke about looking toward the future through education and technology.
