Gone was the polished leading man — he appeared in a black hoodie and Puma sweatpants, topped with a Kings hat, gray beard and glasses completing the transformation, a far cry from the clean-shaven, charming leading man that made him a household name. Vartan’s most notable role came in Alias, where he starred alongside Jennifer Garner from 2001 to 2006. The two also had a brief real-life romance in 2003, which made headlines at the time.
