Quest Gulliford, a popular TikTok creator and cancer survivor, is turning heads online not just for his dramatic tattooed appearance but also for his fully inked eyeballs. His bold transformation has become a powerful symbol of personal freedom.
After surviving Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Quest began getting tattoos in 2009. Since then, he’s spent around $70,000 on body art. In one of his most talked-about videos, he shares his experience of getting his eyes tattooed — something that required a lot of mental strength.
“It was a huge risk, but something I’ve always wanted,” he said. “Now, three years later, I still feel really good about it.”
Just the eye tattoos alone cost him $10,000. But despite the danger, he’s happy with the results and even plans to go back for more eye ink next month.
Quest explained that the procedure, which took place in Houston, was nothing like a regular tattoo. Instead of a needle to the skin, ink is injected directly into the whites of the eyes — a process that’s not only intense but emotionally challenging. “Even on the day of, I had to really prepare myself mentally to go through with it,” he admitted.
But he’s not done yet. Quest plans to return to the same artist soon to refresh and possibly enhance the ink in his eyes, proving he’s fully committed to his extreme form of self-expression.
His tattoos aren’t just for show — they carry deep meaning. One tattoo marks his fight with cancer, and the very first piece he ever got was a cross with the words “God First” on his chest. He also has a purple ribbon to honor the illness he battled back in seventh grade.
Recalling his health scare, Quest said, “I had this large lump in my neck, but I didn’t really think much of it.” After undergoing six months of chemotherapy, he said he felt stronger than ever.
He got his first face tattoo at age 18. At first, his mom wasn’t thrilled. She even tried to talk tattoo artists out of doing large designs on his face. Over time, though, she accepted the smaller ones.
Today, Quest Gulliford’s story continues to inspire people. His tattoos show more than art — they tell a story of survival, strength, and the freedom to be completely yourself.
