Britney Spears marked a special moment for her family by sharing a heartfelt tribute to her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, on Instagram. The pop icon posted a series of throwback photos to honor their birthdays, expressing her love and hopes for them.
“It’s my boys’ birthday month! I wish for you to receive all that you desire and more!” she wrote. In a playful note, she added, “P.S. Anyone know why we’re all looking up?” referring to a photo of her with one of her sons, both gazing skyward.
Sean Preston marked his 19th birthday on Saturday, and Jayden celebrated his 18th birthday on Thursday. Britney shares both sons with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
The singer’s relationship with her boys has been strained in recent years, reportedly due to their discomfort with her social media presence. In May 2023, it was revealed that they hadn’t seen each other in over a year. However, efforts to reconnect are underway.
A Mother’s Day phone call in May seemed to mark a turning point. According to Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, the teens showed openness to rebuilding their bond. “Reconciliation can be a complicated process, but that call was a positive step,” Kaplan told Page Six in June.
