Here is Luke Thill, a talented and creative-minded 13-year-old boy from Dubuque, Iowa, who, instead of playing games just like his peers, decided to build a mini house. No one believed that he could fulfil his dream but here is the final result!
His goal was to make his own small house in his parents’ backyard. Spending approximately 1500 dollars on such an amazing creation, he now spends most of his time there and regrets nothing.
The teen gave his preference to a more traditional approach to combat boredom. It was last summer that he embarked on the journey of building his dream house which seemed something unfeasible and even hilarious to many.
He spent much time on finding all the needed materials. For the sake of his cherished dream, he even created an online fundraiser to collect money. 75 percent of materials he used was recycled. At the end, he got a 89-square-foot house.
Believe it or not, there is also electricity. Yet, it still lacks plumbing amenities. This is not the end yet, he plans to build another house when he starts college.
