It is always cute to see the bond between animals of different species 🥹🤗
Animal kingdom always amazes us with their unusual bonds between different animals. Puppies are very loving and affectionate, so they can easily bond with other animals and are overjoyed to male buddies with those who need their love.
One such connection is between Herman and Lundy. Lundy is a chihuahua, who can’t walk and wants people’s help to move. And his best buddy is a pigeon named Herman, that can’t fly.
As they both are disabled they became inseparable. They saw one another in the rescue organization in New York, that is opened specifically for protection and help for disabled animals.
Herman was found and rescued in a car park. The organization staff saw, that he was sitting in the same place for almost three days. It became clear, that he has a neurological condition and can’t fly.
Herman’s rescuers considered he must be euthanized, but one of the workers of the foundation thought otherwise. She considered taking care of Herman on her own.
A chihuahua is named Lundy and couldn’t use his hind legs. His spinal cord was injured and he now suffers from an illness called swimmers syndrome. At first, they weren’t put together but then Sue freed Herman out of his crib to exercise and she saw, that he immediately went to Lundy.
She also told, that she took Herman out for some fresh air and then considered putting Lundy and Herman together. They looked very sweet with one another and she captured them. She posted their photos on the Internet and the following day it was crazy.
Thanks to their photos Sue managed to collect 6000$ in donations. The photos assisted to tell everyone the foundation’s mission to assist disabled animals.
Although Lundy and Herman had hard lives they were able to make a loving bond, that demonstrates the depth of connection, that can be between animals of different species.
But the most important thing is the great mission of the Mia Foundation and their wish to give disabled animals a second chance.
