The puppy immediately recognized his previous owner 🤗🥰
While Stephen was in prison there was an innovative program called New Leash of Life. Their purpose was pairing stray dogs with prisoners in order they can assist one another in rehabilitation.
And Stephen was paired with a puppy named Pavlov. They trained for many months together and after all Pavlov finally recognized him. The pair became best friends and they were almost inseparable. Pavlov even had such a positive influence on Stephen’s character, that he was even released from prison early.
He wanted to take Pavlov with him after his release, but he didn’t have a place to stay at first. And he made the hard decision to return Pavlov to the program and allow him to find another owner.
And when Marina saw Pavlov she immediately fell in love. She took him immediately and gave him the loving permanent home, that he deserved.
Stephen’s life changed for the better after being released from prison. He started working at animal control and when Marina learned, that Pavlov participated in the program she immediately considered finding Stephen.
They exchanged messages on Facebook, but has never planned to meet. And Marina considered arranging a surprise for the man and took Pavlov to meet him.
The touching moment of Pavlov and Stephen’s reunion was captured. Pavlov appeared to remember his owner and Stephen was also touched after playing with him.
The story ended happily and Marina considered asking Stephen to stay in Pavlov’a life and has invited him to be on dog-sitting duty any time.
