This meeting had incredibly good consequences.
Harry Beardsley met an unhoused man named John on the street and could not even think what incredibly good results this meeting would lead to.
An inhabitant of Reading, England, called a new familiar person to sit in a pub. There, Harry and 28-year-old John drank beer, played pool and, definitely, talked a lot. Understanding how tough John’s life is, a generous person made up his mind to assist him and posted on his Twitter account. In the post, he talked a bit about an unhoused man with some bar and kitchen experience as well as asked users to consider if they have a suitable job for this man.
For several hours, caring strangers sent donations for John. And soon Harry announced that he no longer needed the money. Over £5,000 was raised. This is enough to rent a house for six months as well as clean up yourself.
Which is crucial. After all, John is currently going to go to areas where jobs were suggested and where he needs to make a good impression. Among other things, the unhoused man was invited to a regional construction company for a trial period and to the same pub where he and Harry had an encounter. We can only wish John good luck and from the bottom of our hearts express our gratitude to those who supported him.
As for Harry starting this good deed, some feel he should have been knighted.
