Harold and Ruby got married back in 1952.
At that time, finding a cheap family photographer was not an easy mission. And the “expensive” master turned out to be simply too costly for young newlyweds. Thus, it turned out that the couple was left without wedding shots.
Nevertheless, this did not spoil their family’s joy. Harold and Ruby lived a life full of love, care, and understanding. By the 65th wedding anniversary, the couple already had 5 children, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and even one great-great-grandchild.
However, Harold made up his mind to give his beloved wife a unique birthday gift. The man ordered a professional photo session so that he and his wife could, at last, take their “wedding” shots. Thrilling surprise deeply touched the old woman. And when she saw her husband in the same bow tie as at their wedding, she could not hold back her tears.
The couple took a series of lovely pictures on the green meadow of the farm, where they spent their entire lives with each other. When asked by Ruby what was her joy during these years, the old woman answered: “Harold was close.”
