Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock have reunited to present the highly anticipated sequel to their beloved film Practical Magic. The actresses, who play the Owens sisters, introduced a new teaser at CinemaCon on April 14, giving fans a first look at the next chapter of this magical story.
The new trailer for Practical Magic 2 reveals how the lives of the Owens sisters are suddenly turned upside down when a mysterious figure (played by Lee Pace) arrives in their picturesque New England town. The sequel promises to be filled with intrigue and unexpected twists.
At CinemaCon, Sandra Bullock shared behind-the-scenes footage from the set, noting how excited she and Nicole Kidman are for the release of the long-awaited continuation of the magical saga.
The two actresses, both 61-year-old Bullock and 58-year-old Kidman, even playfully reenacted a scene for the audience, bringing their characters back to life with a fun little moment.
“Witches are back!” Kidman exclaimed to applause from the crowd. Bullock teased the audience, saying, “I’m sure you’ve heard of the Owens family, those from Massachusetts, the ones that the neighbors whisper about because they’re witches.” The playful exchange got the audience laughing and eagerly anticipating the film.
In addition to Nicole and Sandra, the sequel also stars Joey King as Sally’s daughter, along with Maisie Williams, Xolo Mariduena, and Solly McLeod, who round out the cast of the next magical adventure.
