Tommy Lee Jones was seen in public with his wife, Dawn Laurel-Jones, marking his first appearance since the tragic death of his daughter, Victoria. The couple was photographed on Monday as they exited a building in San Antonio, Texas.
The 79-year-old actor kept a low profile in a blue flannel shirt, beige trousers, and green sneakers. He wore glasses and sported an unshaven beard, his appearance subdued and understated. Dawn, his third wife, walked beside him in a coordinated red sweater and matching pants, finishing the look with brown suede ankle boots.

The sighting came just five days after the devastating death of Victoria, who passed away on January 1 at the Fairmont San Francisco. She was 34 years old.
Victoria was the actor’s daughter from his second marriage to Kimberly Cloughley, whom he was married to from 1981 until 1996. She was found unresponsive on the 14th floor of the luxury hotel in the early hours of New Year’s Day. A person who initially believed she had lost consciousness alerted hotel staff, who immediately called emergency services.

It has also been noted that Victoria had a documented criminal history and had confirmed that cocaine had influenced his condition when police detained him several months prior to her death. The circumstances have added to the weight of an already devastating loss for the family.
