The 49-year-old singer performed both before and after the Papal Mass held at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow. A warm cheer erupted from the crowd of 65,000 as the Britain’s Got Talent sensation took the stage just ahead of the Pope’s arrival.
Clad in her long black coat and heels, Susan once again captivated the audience with I Dreamed a Dream, the song that made her a household name. Pilgrims joyfully waved their flags in response to her voice filling the park.
Susan Boyle will sing again for the Pope at the Vatican’s Christmas concert, alongside Lionel Richie and Bonnie Tyler, reported The Scottish Sun.
