Most of all people try to adopt a young cat, but this family is an exception. They went to the shelter to take an elderly cat named Dexter to give him love and affection in his final years of life. He had an irreplaceable place in his familyâs hearts.
One of the shelter workers received an email asking to urgently find foster homes for kittens.
The woman didnât know how to do it, as she already had a husband, four dogs and two kids.
But then they considered keeping the cat and the dogs apart, as they couldnât imagine their dogs reaction.
Jill considered going to the sanctuary and chose several cats to take care of. She planned to adopt a tiny kitten, but instead she saw an elderly toothless cat named Dexter, who made her fall in love.
She told, that the first she considered was, that the kitty needed to have a loving home and she had many different opinions in mind.
And it appeared, that Dexter desperately needed a home. Jill considered it would be great for her to live with her kids and dogs at his age.
Dexter kept yelling at the woman while he moved between her knees and put his paws on her.
So she considered taking the kitty home.
She organized a family meeting after she considered taking Dexter home.
Jillâs children JJ and Harry adored the kitty.
