The sweet swimming ability of wild cats
The touching situation happened, when a handful of saved tigers were released from the zoo and had their first river entry. Two tigers named Cati and Lilo were rescued from a zoo in New York State.
The tigers were taken to a new place at a refuge in Nevada when they were eleven years old, where everything was as natural as possible.
Now they got the chance to feel what it was like to be tigers and appreciate all that nature had to offer after so many hard years. A volunteer named Kelley saw the tigers, when they were doing their first swimming attempts.
There is a common saying, that cats hate water and it is true in most cases. The worker told, that it is true with the exception of the tigers, who adore playing in the water.
And after this story it became clear, that wild cats like bathing and have the ability. It’s amazing, that there are organisations devoted to helping wild animals and saving them from non standard living conditions.
