As spouses Steve Jenkins and Derek Walter from Canada obtained the pig, they considered him one of these small-scale pigs but seemingly they get more than they dealt for. After two years, their “tiny pig” weighed 650 pounds and had grown into a full-grown trade pig. Regardless of their great surprise, the love as well as fellowship they experienced from Esther the pig converted their lives for the better.
Esther not only converted their lives but their lifestyle as well. When they realized how clever and amiable this wonderful creature was (pigs are just as clever as dogs, and many consider them to be even tidier animals), they couldn’t endure the thought of eating other ranch animals that were just as clever and amiable. So, they became vegan. The couple has the desire to assist more animals and, in need of more space, opened their own animal shelter on the ranch. Jenkins and Walters aren’t the only ones in awe of their big pet. Esther has 516,000 followers on Instagram and was voted the most authoritative pet of the year at the 13th yearly Libby Awards the previous year, which recognizes trademarks, stars as well as corporations devoted to animals.
