The baby dog, that had many injuries on his head
Our story is about Chewy, a 3-month-old chihuahua was seen alone and hurt at the Las Vegas airport. Bur before judging the owner, look at the note she left with the puppy…
“Hello, I’m Chewy. My owner had an abusive relationship and wasn’t able to take me to get on the plane. She didn’t want to let me go, but she dude have another choice. Her ex-boyfriend hit her dog while they were quarrelling, and he had a buh injury on his head. He needs to be taken to the vet. I love Chewy very much. Please love and take good care of him.”
Happily, a generous man took him to the Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue. And here the shelter founder Lindia Gilliam learned Chewy’s story.
“My heart melted from this story. I didn’t think about adopting him, and immediately got him to an ER.”
Gilliam says, that this is one example demonstrating the hard situation of pet owners in abusive relationships. “This is a very common example. We also want to contact Chewy’s owner to thank and say, that he is now safe and will have a happy life.”
